As Ruby’s daughter, JJ has some big paws to fill. Now 3 years old, JJ is having her first litter.

JJ is a quiet and sweet girl with a very affectionate nature and a love for giving kisses. She is exceptionally biddable, making her an absolute dream to train. JJ is always eager to please and will happily do anything I ask of her. She is the definition of a “velcro dog,” preferring to stay close by my side wherever I go.

While she can be somewhat reserved at first, with thoughtful training and exposure she has adapted beautifully to many new environments and situations. JJ has a calm, gentle temperament paired with an excellent off-switch in the home, yet she still enjoys being active and engaged with her people.

JJ also has an incredible amount of athleticism and natural spring. She can easily jump anything I ask her to and shows a lot of potential for agility and other dog sports. We are excited to begin agility training with her, and we expect her puppies to inherit both her athletic ability and eager-to-work temperament, making them excellent candidates for active homes and performance sports.

JJ is a mix of Standard Australian Shepherd and Border Collie, while her father, Pippin, is a registered Miniature American Shepherd (Miniature Aussie). She brings together the intelligence, trainability, athleticism, and devotion these breeds are known for, resulting in a versatile and highly people-focused companion.
