Bear is the prized stud at Cariboo Aussies in 100 Mile House, BC. A double-registered Australian Shepherd (AKC, CKC), he was selected for his calm, loving, confident temperament and medium drive — a good balance of energy and companionship.

I kept Bear for a week to breed with Ruby and was impressed by his affectionate, gentle, and eager-to-please nature. He’s quiet and loves to cuddle.

Bear is important to my breeding program. I use him to strengthen traits I value: intelligence, trainability, strong partnership drive, and good judgment.

He’s also handsome — some puppies may inherit his blue eyes. At about 40 lbs and 19 inches tall, his pups should be a similar size.
